How to find Helwith Bridge Fly Fishery.

From the South.

Head towards Skipton and join the A65. You can either follow the M6-M62-M60-M66-A56-M65-A682-A65 route, or M6-M65-A682-A65 route

Pass through Long Preston on the A65.

Turn right At Settle.

Pass through centre of Settle.

Turn right onto the B6479 towards Horton in Ribblesdale.

Pass through Stainforth.

Turn left at Helwith bridge, towards Austwick.

The Fly Fishery is located just beyond the Helwith Bridge Inn on the left hand side (see map above)

From the North, Junction 36 M6

Take the A65 East towards Skipton passing through Lupton and Cowan Bridge.

Pass Ingleton and Clapham and turn left at Austwick.

Pass through Austwick and continue towards Helwith bridge. The Fly Fishery is located just before the Helwith Bridge Inn on the right (see map above).

From the East, A65

Head towards Skipton and join the A65.

Pass through Hellifield and Long Preston.

Turn right At Settle.

Pass through centre of Settle.

Turn right onto the B6479 towards Horton in Ribblesdale.

Pass through Stainforth.

Turn left at Helwith bridge, towards Austwick.

The Fly Fishery is located just beyond the Helwith Bridge Inn on the left hand side (see map above)

Weather

If you want to check the weather then visit the Ingleborough webcam, which takes a photo of Ingleborough every 15 minutes during daylight hours.

Fly fishing Tip

The fish will come up from the depths to take a dry or buzzer. It is good buzzer water.
